The HL7 Event Log allows you to remove individual messages from the log. Once a message is removed, it is no longer returned when you search by date range. You can still retrieve these messages by entering the document handle (Item #) in the Event Log, but the message no longer has a status.
To delete an entry from the HL7 Event Log:
- Select the message in the HL7 Event Log.
- Right-click and select Delete HL7 Log Entry.
