You can manually queue a new message based on an existing message in the HL7 Event Log. The new message will be generated for the same document as the existing message, but you are allowed to choose a different message template and destination.

To queue a new message:

  1. Select the message in the HL7 Event Log.
  2. Right-click and select Send New Message. The Resend HL7 Message dialog box is displayed.
  3. Select the message template and destination from the HL7 Message and Destination drop-downs.
    By default, the message template and destination used for the existing message are selected.
  4. Click Send to add the new message to the queue for the HL7 Auto-Sender.
