The Outbound Message Log allows you to retrieve messages that were triggered by a specific document or set of documents.

  1. Enter the document handle(s) in the Item # field. Document handles can be provided in any of the following ways:
    • As a single document handle (e.g., 101).

    • As multiple handles separated using a space, comma, or semicolon (e.g., 101,102).

    • As a range of handles using a hyphen with no spaces around it (e.g., 101-110).

    • As a combination of the above (e.g., 101,103-110).

    • By dragging and dropping one or more documents from a Document Search Results list onto the Outbound Message Log.

To drag and drop, first select the documents in the Document Search Results list. Then, right-click and drag the documents to the Outbound Message Log.

  2. Click Find.
    Note:

Searching by document handle also returns messages for items in Document Maintenance.
