If a category is no longer needed, you can delete it. When a category is deleted, the category is removed from all packets it is currently assigned to. Make sure all packets still have at least one category assigned.

To delete an existing category:

  1. Select Medical | Form Packets | Packet Configuration. The Form Packet Configuration dialog is displayed.
  2. Select a packet.
  3. Click Categories. The Form Packet - Category Assignment dialog is displayed.
  4. Click Create New Category.

    The Form Packet Category Configuration dialog is displayed.

  5. Select a category to delete.
  6. Click Delete.
  7. Click Yes when prompted.
  8. When you are done deleting categories, click Close.
