Form packets can be assigned only to patients who have an MPI associated with one or more charts in OnBase. MPI and chart creation require the OnBase HL7 module. For more information, see the OnBase HL7 documentation.
Note:
Once created, Clinical Consent form packets are associated with a static MPI and chart ID. These values do not change on the form packet, even if they are updated or merged on the patient's chart. If the MPI or chart ID is changed for a patient who has pending form packets, then new form packets should be assigned to the patient. Use a document corrections process as needed to remove incomplete forms from the patient's record. If you need assistance, please contact your first line of support.
