You can designate the fields available for chart search using OnBase Configuration. Field display names are based on the display names configured under Medical | Charts | Data Fields.

Note:

The following configuration is shared with the Chart Search context in the OnBase Patient Window.

To configure search fields:

  1. Select Medical | User Interface Settings | Patient Window | Search Fields. The Patient Window Search Configuration dialog is displayed.
  2. Select Chart Search from the User Interface Context drop-down list.
  3. Select the search fields that should be available.
    Tip:

    For information about available search fields, see Chart Search Fields and Columns.

  4. Click the Add(>>) button.
  5. Use the Move Up and Move Down buttons to change the field order.
  6. Click Close when finished.
