If set to true, the Healthcare Form Manager URL must contain a valid checksum value. When attempting to retrieve documents, the Healthcare Form Manager will compare the checksum value to the expected checksum. If they match, the Healthcare Form Manager attempts to retrieve the specified documents. If the checksums do not match, the user is presented with an error.
Checksums must be generated using HMACSHA256. The Healthcare Form Manager supports only HMACSHA256 checksum verification.
The checksum is a security measure to ensure the Healthcare Form Manager URL has not been altered, thereby preventing users from retrieving MRNs or MPIs other than the one specified in the URL. When this setting is set to false, the Healthcare Form Manager ignores the checksum value.
