After you have selected or created a page and configured the ID fields, you must configure the Action Fields. An action field is an area on your terminal emulation screen where you will double-click to cross-reference documents from the Client module or determine the default document type for indexing (screen scraping).

To create an action field

  1. Highlight an area that will be used for a double click value for a cross-reference or for a screen scrape keyword. Click on the Configure Action Fields button.
  2. The coordinate locations are entered automatically. From the drop down, select the document type that will either be used to cross-reference or screen scrape. If you have not selected any text or are editing the action fields, you can manually type in the fields.
  3. Select the appropriate radio button under the Retrieve section. Click on Save.

Alternately, you can enter the coordinates manually.

The following is a description of Action Field coordinates and retrieval options.
