The Client Access is a separately run program. The communications setting allows the terminal emulator (Client Access) and OnBase to communicate with one another.
Once you have the programs in place, you can start setting up the cross-referencing and the screen scraping after you have connected from the Communications Settings dialog box in the Configuration module.
In the Client Access section of the Communications Settings dialog box, you must specify what the title bar of the Client Access window will say so that the imaging system can identity the Client Access window when cross-referencing or screen scraping.
The defaulted type of Terminal Emulation will be AS400.
There is one important difference between the Client Access link and the other communications links. You cannot highlight text to automatically fill the x and y coordinate fields in the ID Fields, Action Fields, or Keywords dialog boxes.
