Information on a user screen often causes the user to seek supporting information in another location, such as a file room, a microfilm machine, or a document imaging system. The user typically must either leave the workstation or log in to another application in order to find information. With Host Enabler running inside of OnBase, it's not necessary to leave the application in order to retrieve related documents from OnBase.
For example, a customer service representative receives a call concerning an invoice. The service representative using OnBase simply double-clicks the invoice number in the host window, and the invoice image stored in OnBase appears on the representative's screen, enabling the representative to instantly address customer issues.
