After OnBase has been setup, the administrator must make sure that those users who require access to the product have user group rights to use it, as assigned in Configuration, User Groups / Rights.
In Configuration, under Users | User Groups & Rights | Configuration Rights, Terminal Configuration must be checked. This gives the user access to the Configure Terminal option under the Import menu.
Also, in order to access the Host Emulator, the workstations must be registered as either Host Enabler – Named or Host Enabler – Concurrent. This is located in the Client, under Admin -> User Management -> Workstation Management.
Highlight a workstation. Click the drop-down arrow and select the appropriate product. Click on Register. Remember, a workstation can only be registered as a concurrent or named Host Enabler client.
Workstation registration can be performed from any workstation for all workstations that are currently registered in OnBase. An administrator with the privileges to register products must log into the Client to perform this task.
