The Hyland Experience Capture Import Processor (HxC Import Processor) processes export packages from the Hyland Experience Capture application and converts the contents of the export packages into OnBase documents and extracts Keyword Values from associated XML files. An HxC Import Processor process is configured to be automatic and runs on a scheduled timer using the Unity Scheduler Service.
The HxC Import Processor can be used with either the OnBase Client or the Unity Client when reviewing batches of documents.
During an HxC Import Processor process, the processor unzips a zipped HxC export package located in a local or remote file location. Each file in the export package is processed to look for the associated Document Type and is then processed to obtain available Keyword Values. The HxC Import Processor obtains the Document Type and available Keyword Values by evaluating XML files associated with each document exported from the Hyland Experience Capture application.
