Verification Reports can help you detect if Keyword Types configured for a process or Keyword Values identified by the process are valid.

For example the following error may be displayed, where [Document Type] is the name of the Document Type for which the Keyword Type is configured and [filename.xml] is the name if the .xml file associated with the document in error:

Warning: Invalid Keyword Amount: ‘5,123.00'

Warning: Document Type: [Document Type] File: [filename.xml]

This error indicates that the currency format for the Amount Keyword Type was not configured correctly. The associated Document Type and .xml file is also indicated. To fix this error, modify the process format's configuration so that the currency Keyword Type is correctly formatted.

Verification Reports can also identify discrepancies between imported data and the constraints of mapped Keyword Types. For example, the following error indicates the Keyword Value identified by the processor exceeds the maximum Keyword Value length of the Keyword Type to which it belongs:

Keyword <Keyword Type Name> (<Keyword Type Number>) is too long and will be truncated from <Original Keyword Value> to <Truncated Keyword Value>

For example, if a Keyword Type were configured with a maximum length of 3 characters and the Keyword Value identified by the processor was abcdefg, then the Keyword Value would be truncated to abc when imported into OnBase. By viewing the Verification Report, this error can be detected and corrected.
