The following name/value pairs are used to configure a Destination object for remote initiation clients:

Name

Value

FriendlyName

Enter a name for the destination endpoint.

Port

Enter the TCP port to which traffic from the remote initiation connection is forwarded.

KeepAliveTimeout

This setting sends network traffic to the configured endpoint at the configured interval if no other traffic is being sent over that endpoint. For example, if you set this setting to 5, and there is no activity over the port for 5 minutes, Message Engine will send a keep alive packet to the configured endoint every 5 minutes.

Note: It is recommended to set the value to 1 minute less than any configured firewall timeout.
