The Post Processor is a program that runs as a service on the Application Server where IAConnect is installed. It is regularly looking through every document in the ITP - Post Release to ERP Queue on a configured interval and then performing a read into the Costpoint database to determine what the AP Status of each corresponding voucher is. It uses the Vendor ID and Invoice Number to find the record in Costpoint.
The Post Processor service should always be set to start automatically and should always be running. If documents begin to build up in the Post Processor queue beyond 500 records it is a signal to check to make sure this service is running properly.
