OnBase communicates with other systems in an IHE community through the use of the IHE Service, a Windows NT service that listens for and sends IHE messages from a configured endpoint address. The IHE Service relays this communication to an OnBase Application Server.
Before installing the IHE Service, review the following sections regarding system requirements and essential pre-installation configuration:
When you are ready to proceed with the installation, see IHE Service Configuration and Installation for information on how to use the IHE Service Configuration utility.
Optionally, if you want the IHE Service to save local message logs for troubleshooting or auditing purposes, see Configuring Logging.
