The onbase32.ini file is divided into segments by section headings. These section headings are used to group settings according to functionality.

Settings appear in the following format:

SettingName=Value

For many settings, a value of 0(zero) following the =(equals) symbol means that the setting is disabled. A value of 1(one) following the equals symbol means that the setting is enabled. Other settings are only enabled when a file path or other alphanumeric value follows the equals symbol. When no value follows the equals symbol, a setting is disabled.

To use some of the settings discussed in this document, you must manually add them to the onbase32.ini file. When adding settings to the onbase32.ini file, add settings beneath the section headings under which they appear in this document.

CAUTION:

When an INI setting can be changed by modifying an option in the OnBase Client or Configuration module, Hyland Software recommends changing the INI setting by making the modification in the OnBase Client or Configuration module. This approach ensures accurate onbase32.ini file settings.
