This setting can be used for performance tuning of Image Statements when archiving rendered statements back into OnBase. When set to 0, disk group locking is disabled. When set to 1, disk group locking is enabled. Image Statements will lock every disk group used for archiving rendered statements while the entire rendering job is in process. Nobody else can have write access to the disk group while it is locked. However, Image Statements would archive rendered statements much faster.
This setting corresponds to the Lock Disk Group During Processing check box in the OnBase Client's Process Tuning Parameters dialog box. The Lock Disk Group During Processing check box can help speed up processing when there are many checks or files to be stored to the disk group. When the disk group is locked, it is not necessary for the process to check for space on the drive before each save operation. This will increase the speed of processing. This option should only be selected when the process can be given exclusive access to the disk group drive, locking out other access to the disk group while the process is running. If more than one disk group is configured to use the same physical drive for uncommitted documents, use this option with extreme caution.
