In the Configuration module, select Printing | OMR Configuration. The OMR Configuration dialog box is displayed.

Type an appropriate name for the OMR type in the text field. Click Create. As soon as the type is created, the OMR Type Settings dialog box is displayed.
Note:
To rename an existing OMR type, select the type and double-click.
Note:The OMR Type Settings dialog box is available for existing types by selecting the Settings button in the OMR Configuration dialog box.
In the OMR Type Settings dialog box, select whether you will be configuring a Standard OMR, a 3 of 9 Bar Code, or a Datamatrix 2D Bar Code. Spacing Options covers the spacing configuration of the marks within the OMR Type. Print Options emulate options that can also be coded in a DLL file.
Note:The Datamatrix 2D Bar Code option requires the installation of Pegasus tools. Please contact your first line of technical support for these tools.

Spacing Option
Description
Number of Columns
Specify the number of columns to be present within the OMR type.
Vertical Spacing (inches)
Specify the amount of space in between each OMR mark for the type.
Thickness (pixels)
Specify the thickness of each line in the OMR mark for the type.
Horizontal Spacing (inches)
Specify the spacing between columns. This is not used when only one column is configured.
Mark Width (inches)
Specify the width of the actual OMR mark.
Print Option
Description
Print Crippled
Selecting this option will print OMR marks on crippled statements.
Print landscape marks
Selecting this option will print portrait-orientation configured marks on pages configured with a landscape print format.
Do not reset page count between statements
Selecting this option will continue the page count from the previous document. If this option is not selected, each new document will begin with a start page of 1.
Note:If needed, click Clear to remove all configured settings from the dialog box.
- When all settings have been appropriately configured, click Save to exit the dialog box.
