The -PSN=<network print queue #> command line switch is used to bypass the workstation options. When –PSN is used, the client ignores all network print queues from the workstation options using the one specified in the command line instead. This switch provides the ability of having two or more print servers, on the same workstation, serving different print queues.
This command line switch is especially useful at high volume sites where several print servers serving one or more print queues running in one or more PCs might be needed.
By default, the –PSN command line switch activates the print server mode. Therefore it is not necessary to add a –PS switch when using –PSN. However, –PSN can be used in combination with –POS and/or –PAS for starting Print Only Server or Print Archive Servers using a print queue specified in the command line.
