Image Statements are generated by a sophisticated method of matching primary document types to secondary document types. In most cases, OnBase will need to be licensed for certain input processing modules to bring the data for the primary and secondary document types into the document imaging system.
For example, a checking account statement that is rendered typically consists of a primary document that is the checking account statement, and a secondary document type that consists of the check images. The statement can be processed into OnBase by a COLD input processor, which requires a COLD Workstation license. The DIP input processor can be used to process the check images into the document management system.
