To create an institutional database, you must create institutions within the database. To do this, you much first create an Institution Name record for all institutions that will co-exist in the database. As an administrator in Configuration:

  1. Select Utils | Institution Names. The Institution Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  2. Click on the bottom left field and type a number to assign the new institution.
    Note:

    Institution number 99 cannot be created.

  3. Click the field to the right of the number field and type in the name for the institution.
  4. Click Add to add the institution to the list of institutions for selection. A warning appears confirming the wish to switch to using institutional databases.
  5. Click OK.
