If you are running the Fax Connector Service Configuration utility on the same workstation that the Fax Connector Service is installed on, the configuration utility automatically connects to the Fax Connector Service.
If the Fax Connector Service Configuration utility is running on a different workstation from the Fax Connector Service, click the Connect button on the Home ribbon.
The Connect to Machine dialog box is displayed.
Type the UNC name of the workstation running the Fax Connector Service in the Machine Name field and click OK.
Port 8008 must be open to allow the Fax Connector Service Configuration utility to communicate with the Fax Connector Service.
