The fax history is an XML document that contains information about the fax. All Document Types used to archive fax histories should be configured to use XML as the Default File Format. XML documents can also be configured to use custom XML style sheets for viewing. For XML Document Type and XML style sheet configuration information, see the appendix in the Integration for Biscom FAXCOM module reference guide. For general Document Type configuration, see the System Administration module reference guide or the Configuration module help files.

In order to cross-reference a fax history to its fax, both Document Types must be assigned the Fax Unique ID Keyword Type and this Keyword must be mapped to populate automatically from the fax handle fax property (the fax handle is a unique identifier used by the fax server to identify a specific fax). Details on mapping fax properties to Keywords is discussed in the Rules section of this manual.
