In order for the Integration for Content Composer to successfully retrieve Content Composer bundles as related documents in OnBase, the appropriate Portfolio Relations and Portfolio Types must be configured. Portfolio Relations and Portfolio Types are configured in OnBase Studio.

To configure a Portfolio Relation for use with the Integration for Content Composer:

  1. In the Home ribbon within the Portfolios ribbon group, click Portfolio Relations.
  2. Select the Repository from the drop-down list in which you would like to configure the portfolio relation.
  3. Click Add. The Portfolio Relation Wizard is displayed.
  4. Enter a Name for the portfolio relation.
  5. Select the Content Type from the drop-down list. This is the type of item that is the primary item in the life cycle. The Integration for Content Composer supports Documents, Message Items, and WorkView Objects.
  6. Select Content Composer Bundle from the Related Content Type drop-down list.
  7. Click Next. Depending on the options you selected, the wizard will vary. For more information, see the Studio module reference guide.
  8. Click Next.
  9. Select the profile to be used when automatically generating bundles in Content Composer from the Content Composer Profile drop-down list.
  10. Select the system to be used when automatically generating bundles in Content Composer from the System drop-down list.
  11. Select the type of bundle to be generated in Content Composer from the Bundle drop-down list.
  12. Click Next.
  13. Click Finish.

The Portfolio Relation must be included in a Portfolio Type, and that Portfolio Type must be assigned to the Life Cycle that corresponds to the Integration for Content Composer. For more information on configuring Portfolio Types, see the Workflow module reference guide.
