Depending on your privileges and system configuration, XML notifications can be sent on an ad hoc basis by retrieving statements and notices in OnBase.

To trigger XML notifications on an ad hoc basis:

  1. From the OnBase Client, retrieve the appropriate statements and notices.
  2. Select the documents to send notifications for from the Document Search Results list.
  3. Right-click and select Send Cavion Notification.

    The Cavion Notifications dialog box notifies you whether notifications were sent for the selected documents. Click the Show Details button to display the notification status for the documents.

    Note:

    You are notified when notifications can't be sent. For example, notifications can't be sent if the Document Type of the selected document is not configured to allow notifications, or the For more information on upload errors, contact your system administrator.
