You can modify an envelope in the DocuSign interface before and after notifications are sent. In either scenario, you can edit settings, recipients, and any documents contained within the envelope.

To modify an envelope, from the Unity Client:

  1. Retrieve a document contained within the envelope you would like to modify.
  2. From the Document Search Results list, either select or open the document.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Right-click the document from the Document Search Results list or the document header (if opened) and select DocuSign | Modify Envelope.

    • Click the DocuSign button from the Document tab and select Modify Envelope.

The document is displayed in the DocuSign interface, where you can modify the envelope and send or resend notifications to recipients.
  4. Modify the envelope as needed.
    CAUTION:

If you modify the envelope within DocuSign, ensure signers do not have the option to print and sign the envelope. When users select to print and sign envelope, the documents contained within the envelope may not be able to be imported back into OnBase.

  5. Send notifications when you have completed your changes.

For more information on modifying an envelope within DocuSign, refer to the help files provided by DocuSign.

Note:

Documents added to an envelope outside of OnBase(i.e., using the DocuSign interface instead) are ignored during polling. For more information on polling, see Checking the Status of a Signed Document.
