After a signature location has been created, you can change the location on the page, field size, and configuration from the DocuSign Signature Locations dialog box.

To edit a signature location:

  1. From the DocuSign Signature Locations dialog box, expand the Document Type containing the signatures you would like to edit.
  2. Right-click [SAMPLE FILE PATH] and select View File to display the sample document in the right-hand pane.
  3. Expand Signatures.
  4. Select the signature you would like to edit.
    Once selected, it is displayed as a yellow box on the sample document.
  5. To modify the physical area of the signature location, do one of the following:
    • Click and drag the yellow box where you would like the signature to appear on the document.

    • Click and drag the handles of the yellow box to resize the area appropriately.

  6. To modify the properties of the signature location, do one of the following:
    • Right-click the signature from the list and select Edit. You can also select Delete to delete the signature location.

    • Double-click the yellow signature box of signature on the sample document.

    The DocuSign Tab Setup dialog is displayed.
  7. Edit the signature properties appropriately and click OK. For more information on the features of this dialog box, see steps 8- 10 of the Configuring Signature Locations on a Document Type section.
  8. To save your changes, click one of the items in the left-hand pane. You are prompted whether you want to save changes to the signature location. Click Yes.
    The signature location is successfully edited.
