The following diagram outlines the deployment structure for the integration.
Component |
Description |
---|---|
A. Desktop or mobile browser |
MyChart users access the integration through a web browser on a desktop or mobile device. |
B. Firewall |
The integration components are installed behind a firewall to restrict access to the internal network. |

The OnBase Web Server and the PPL application are installed on a single server as separate applications within IIS. |

A reverse proxy server or load balancer allows the browser to reach web API endpoints on the OnBase Application Server. Either a reverse proxy server or a load balancer is required. |
E. OnBase Application Server |
The OnBase Application Server (64-bit only) retrieves and writes data to the database and Disk Groups. |
F. OnBase Database |
The OnBase Application Server is the only integration component that accesses the OnBase database. |
G. OnBase Disk Groups |
The OnBase Application Server is the only integration component that accesses the OnBase Disk Groups. |
