Component

Description

A. Desktop or mobile browser

MyChart users access the integration through a web browser on a desktop or mobile device.

B. Firewall

The integration components are installed behind a firewall to restrict access to the internal network.

C. OnBase Web Server and PPL Application

The OnBase Web Server and the PPL application are installed on a single server as separate applications within IIS.

D. Reverse Proxy Server or Load Balancer

A reverse proxy server or load balancer allows the browser to reach web API endpoints on the OnBase Application Server. Either a reverse proxy server or a load balancer is required.

E. OnBase Application Server

The OnBase Application Server (64-bit only) retrieves and writes data to the database and Disk Groups.

F. OnBase Database

The OnBase Application Server is the only integration component that accesses the OnBase database.

G. OnBase Disk Groups

The OnBase Application Server is the only integration component that accesses the OnBase Disk Groups.
