You can configure forms to be available in the PPL application for review but not for signing. For example, if a form requires a physician or witness to be present at the time of signing, then a patient should not be allowed to sign the form in the PPL application.

Note:

This configuration does not affect forms that are added to existing packets using the Add Document to Active Medical Form Packet action in OnBase Workflow.

To designate a form as view-only in the PPL application:

  1. In the OnBase Configuration module, select Medical | Form Packets | Packet Configuration. The Form Packet Configuration dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select All Packet from the packet list.
  3. Click Forms. The Form Packet - Form Selection dialog box is displayed.
  4. Under Available Forms, select a form that should be available for review only.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Click Settings. The Form Packets - Form Settings dialog box is displayed.
  7. Select the Dual Signature setting.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Designate additional forms to be view-only as needed.
  10. Click Close.
