Saved descriptions are stored in a text file named recdesc.<username>.txt in the same folder as the Epic FOS XML configuration file.
It is possible for multiple users to share the same text file if they are logging in with the same Windows user name.
In a Citrix environment, users may not always access the same instance of the Front Office Scanning client. In this case, it is possible for users to have descriptions saved in multiple text files: one for each instance of the Front Office Scanning client. To avoid this scenario, you can configure the Front Office Scanning client on each server to load configuration settings from a shared location as described under Moving EPICFOSCONFIG.xml.
