The Scan Signature API URL is a required configuration setting for DeficiencyPop to communicate with Epic. This must be configured as an External System Setting in the OnBase Configuration module.

Note: To configure the URL, you must first install and configure the OnBase Application Server and DeficiencyPop. For more information on installing and configuring the Application Server, see the Application Server documentation. For more information on installing and configuring DeficiencyPop, see the DeficiencyPop documentation.

To configure the DeficiencyPop Scan Signature API URL:

  1. In the OnBase Configuration module, select Utils > External Systems.
    The External System Configuration dialog box is displayed.

  2. Select Epic and click Values.
    The External System Parameter Configuration dialog box is displayed.

  3. In the Key field, enter Sig Def API URL.
  4. In the Value field, enter the URL that points to the Scan Signature API.
  5. Click Add.
    The key/value pair is added to the list of pairs.
  6. Click Save.
