Cross-referenced documents can be viewed side-by-side for comparison in the OnBase Web Viewer.
To compare documents:
- Open a document in the OnBase Web Viewer that has cross-referenced documents.

Open a cross-referenced document for comparison from the opened document in one
of the following ways:
- From a PDF document, select Document > Cross-Reference from the menu above the document viewer.
- From an image or text document, double click the document or right-click the document and select Cross-References from the right-click menu.
One of the following results may occur:
- If there are no available cross-referenced documents, a No documents found message is displayed.
- If only one cross-referenced document exists, the document is automatically displayed in the secondary viewer that opens on the right side of the screen.
- If more than one cross-referenced document exists, the Cross-Reference Results list is displayed with a list of all cross-referenced documents.
- If more than one cross-referenced document exists, select a document from the Cross-Reference Results list to open it in a secondary viewer for a side-by-side comparison view with the original document.

When you are done viewing cross-referenced documents, click the
Close Secondary Viewer button at the top right corner
of the Cross-Reference Results list.
