The Web Viewer Control toolbar allows you to view the document more efficiently. Use the buttons for document navigation, resizing or reorienting a page, printing a page or document, and more.

Displays the Print dialog box, if you have user rights to print the document. |
Overlay |
Applies an overlay to the document, if an overlay is present. |
First Page |
Displays the first page of the document. |
Previous Page |
Displays the preceding page of a multi-page document. |
Next Page |
Displays the following page of a multi-page document. |
Last Page |
Displays the last page of the document. |
Zoom In |
Magnifies the view of a document, reducing the portion that is visible. Every zoom increases magnification by one third. |
Zoom Out |
Reduces the magnification of a document, increasing the portion that is visible. Every zoom reduces magnification by one quarter. |
Actual Size |
Displays the document in its actual size (as it is stored in OnBase). Clicking this button sets the magnification to 100%. Note:
This zoom level differs from True Size, which takes the monitor's and image's DPI into account when displaying the image. |
Fit Width |
Resizes the document page so that its width is the same as the width of the document display area. |
Fit Height |
Resizes the document page so that its height is the same as the height of the document display area. |
Fit in Window |
Resizes the document page so that it completely fits the document display area. |
Rotate Counterclockwise |
Rotates the document 90 degrees counterclockwise. |
Rotate Clockwise |
Rotates the document 90 degrees clockwise. |
Show Alternate Rendition |
Opens the Revisions/Renditions dialog box.
If multiple renditions or revisions exist, select the rendition or
revision you want to view in the viewer. Note: If the Show Alternate Rendition option
is unavailable, the Document Type may not allow multiple
renditions. You must have the correct permissions assigned to
Document Types to view renditions and revisions. For more

documentation.

Text Search |
Allows you to search for specific text strings within the document. For more information, see Web Viewer Internal Text Search Toolbar. |
Generate Report |
Allows you to generate a system report of internal text search results. For more information, see Web Viewer Internal Text Search Toolbar. |
Text Actions |
Copies or saves a selected line, column, or block of text on a text document. When saving, the selected text saves as a new text document. For more information, see Copying Selected Text to the Clipboard and Saving Selected Text to a New Text Document. |
Bookmarks |
Opens the Bookmarks pane. Select any
existing bookmark from the Bookmarks pane to
jump to that portion of the document. Note: The
Bookmarks button is only displayed
when a PDF document is selected in the viewer.

Open with Browser PDF Viewer |
Opens the PDF document in the browser's default PDF viewer. Note: The Open with Browser PDF
Viewer button is only displayed when a PDF
document is selected in the viewer. For more information on the
PDF toolbar displayed in the browser PDF viewer, see Web Viewer PDF and OLE Document Viewer Toolbar.

Toggle Annotation |
Enables you to add one or more annotations to the document by selecting the annotation(s) from the adjacent drop-down list of available annotation types. You remain in annotation addition mode until you click the Toggle Annotation button again. For more information, see Web Viewer Annotations Toolbar. |
Scale to Gray |
Softens the contrast of text and image documents at zoom levels of less than 100%. This feature is most noticeable on black-and-white images, making it helpful for reading scanned documents containing text that is too dark or too light. |
Previous Document |
Displays the previous document in a Document Results list. |
Next Document |
Displays the next document in a Document Results list. |
Options |
Enables you to set viewer options. |
Context Menu |
Displays the context menu from the toolbar. Note: You can also display the context menu by
right-clicking the open document. For more information on
context menu options, see Web Viewer Right-Click Menu Options.
