To perform an internal text search in the OnBase Web Viewer:

  1. Click the Text Search button.
    Text Search button.

    The Text Search box is displayed.

    The Text Search box consists of a text entry field, previous and next result buttons, and the Match Case and Match Whole Word check boxes.
  2. Click in the text entry field and type the characters to search for. As you type, results that match the search string are highlighted on the document.
  3. Click the Find Next button or press Enter to find subsequent occurrences of the text. Occurrences of the specified search string are highlighted on the document.
  4. To limit the search to occurrences that match the case of the search term as you typed it, select Match Case.
    For example, if the term "Smith" is entered, then occurrences of "smith" are not highlighted.
  5. To limit the search to occurrences of the complete word that you typed, select Match Whole Word.
    For example, if the term "John" is entered, then occurrences of "Johnson" are not highlighted.
  6. To clear the search field, click the Clear button.
  7. To close the Text Search dialog box, click the Close button.
