Renditions and revisions of a document are available to view when using the OnBase Web Viewer. You must have the correct permissions assigned to Document Types to view renditions and revisions. For more information on configuring revision/rendition permissions for Document Types, see the EDM Services documentation.

To view a rendition or revision in the OnBase Web Viewer:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • From a selected document in the Document Search Results list, right-click and select Revisions/Renditions.
    • From an open text or image document, right-click the document and select Revisions/Renditions or click Show Alternate Rendition from the toolbar.
    • From an open PDF or OLE document (for example, a Word document), select Document > Revisions/Renditions.
    The Revisions/Renditions dialog box is displayed.
    Note: If the revision/rendition options are unavailable, the Document Type may not allow multiple renditions.
  2. Double-click the rendition or revision of the document you want to view. The rendition or revision is displayed in the OnBase Web Viewer.
    Note: When printing from an open document, the rendition or revision that is currently displayed is printed.
