In most environments, the Geocortex widget will work out of the box with no additional configuration required. For environments where advanced configuration is required, you can configure a variety of settings within IIS or the GIS Service web.config file.

Note:
It is possible to change these properties by directly editing the GIS Service web.config file. However, this is not recommended. Doing so may result in configuration problems that are difficult to diagnose.
