You can create a customized geocoder service to override the default geocoder settings.
A customized geocoding service is required when using a Geocoder Address Format of Single-Field (1 keyword type), and is optional when using all other Geocoder Address Formats.
To create a new customized geocoder service, follow these steps:
- Click the Geolocation ribbon tab. The Geolocation layout is displayed.
- Select a geocoder configuration from the Geocoder Configuration list. For information on creating a new geocoder configuration, see Creating a New Geocoder Configuration.
-
Click Edit. The geocoder service configuration dialog box is displayed.
-
Specify all desired options to configure your geocoder service. The following options are available when configuring a geocoding service:
-
