The HylandGISConfiguration.exe.config file can store multiple User Group configurations. These configurations control the behavior of the configured map application depending on the User Group(s) of the user accessing the map. Users accessing the map application will be shown the map configured for their User Group - for example, they will only be able to access Document Types available to the User Groups to which they belong. Users who do not belong to any User Groups configured within the GIS Configuration tool will be presented the map configured as the Default for all users.
For users who belong to more than one User Group, the default view will be displayed using the group configured as the Primary User Group for license restrictions. If a user belongs to multiple User Groups and none of them have this option enabled, OnBase will present the map configured as the Default for all users.
The active (currently selected) User Group is displayed in the title bar of the GIS Configuration tool. Any changes made using the configuration utility are applied to the active User Group.
