Although your OnBase Application Server and your web mapping application can be installed in two separate virtual directories on the same physical machine, it is considered a best practice to install them on separate physical servers.

It is considered a best practice to install your OnBase GIS Service and any applications using the OnBase widget on the same domain.

If you are using Single Sign-On with your Integration for Esri solution, it is considered a best practice to install your GIS Sample Application, your OnBase GIS Service, and the Public Access Viewer on the same physical server. This server should not be the server that contains your OnBase Application Server or your OnBase Web Server.
