The Integration for Esri allows users to retrieve and upload OnBase content from within a web mapping application built using one of Esri's ArcGIS applications.
Electronic content stored in OnBase can be seamlessly retrieved and displayed in the OnBase web viewer without leaving the web mapping application's interface. The seamless integration offers a solution to organizations that need to access geographic data and supporting documentation in a simple, straightforward and easy-to-use manner.
The web mapping application can be configured to establish both static and dynamic relationships between map features and OnBase documents. Static, or user-created, links can be manually defined between map features and OnBase documents, and dynamic links can be configured to automatically link map features and OnBase documents based on a shared value.
Documents can also be imported into OnBase from within the web mapping application. A dynamic link is automatically created between the imported document and the selected map feature, and, depending on your configuration, Keyword Values may be automatically populated for imported documents based on information from the selected map feature.
When used in conjunction with the Public Sector Constituency Web Access license, the Integration for Esri becomes a powerful customer service tool that makes documents stored in OnBase available for public retrieval without requiring multiple Client licenses. When retrieved from a web mapping application via a Public Access Viewer license, OnBase documents are automatically converted to PDF so that they remain secure while also being easily accessible. When used together, these products can greatly increase customer service while still providing the all of the document security of OnBase.
The Integration for Esri provides users with all the security, ease-of-use, and reliability of OnBase from within Esri's Geographical Information System (GIS) user interface. Documents can be retrieved from or archived into OnBase directly from the web mapping application with only a few mouse clicks; no OnBase experience or additional training is required.
