You can filter the results returned in the document search results list by Document Type.

Note:

When one or more Document Type filters are applied and active, any and all attached (static linked) documents are always excluded from the document search results list.

To configure a filter, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Set Filters button.
    The Set Filters dialog box is displayed.
  2. Type dates into one or both of the Date Range fields to only return documents that fall within the specified date range.
  3. Type text into the text fields within the Keyword Filters section to only return documents with Keyword Values that contain the specified text.
  4. Select the Document Types to be used to filter the document search results list. Document Types are grouped under the layers to which they are assigned.
    Tip:

    You can select or deselect the Select All button to quickly select or deselect all Document Types in the list, and you can select or deselect the Expand/Collapse All button to quickly expand or collapse all layers.

  5. Click OK. The document search results list is filtered to only display documents assigned to the selected layers and Document Types and within the specified date range.
