Depending on your system's configuration, you may be able to send documents to another location from the OnBase Search Results dialog box. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the Send To button.
The Send To dialog box is displayed.
  2. Select one or more documents from the Results list.
    Tip:

You can select or deselect the Select All button to quickly select or deselect all documents in the list.

  3. Click Send To File. The selected files are compiled in a zip file and the following dialog box is displayed.
  4. Click one of the following options:
    • Open: click this option to save the zip file as a temporary Internet file and immediately open the zip folder.

    • Save: click this option to save the zip file in your browser download directory using the default zip file name.

    • Save as: click this option to manually specify the location the zip file will be saved, as well as the name of the zip file. Specify a name and location for your new zip file and click Save.

    Note:

Depending on your system's configuration, you may be required to log on to OnBase at this point. If so, enter your logon credentials in the OnBase login window and click Login.

    Tip:

It is considered a best practice to always save the downloaded document before opening it. Opening a file without first saving it can result in unexpected behavior.
