If your solution is configured to use a customized application built using ESRI's Web AppBuilder, Geocortex, or Portal for ArcGIS, you may be able to access OnBase functionality through a widget in the application. To retrieve OnBase documents from a custom application, follow these steps:

  1. Click on the OnBase icon in your web application. The OnBase pane is displayed.
    Note:

    Depending on your system's configuration, you may be prompted to log in to OnBase before you can continue.

    The following buttons are available:

    Description

    Select

    Click to enable the selection tool. When the selection tool is enabled, you can click and drag on the map to select all parcels within the specified area.

    Depending on your system's configuration, the selection tool may include a drop-down list. If available, you can use this drop-down list to change the shape of the selection tool.

    Deselect

    Click to enable the deselection tool. When the deselection tool is enabled, you can click and drag on the map to deselect all parcels within the specified area.

    Depending on your system's configuration, the deselection tool may include a drop-down list. If available, you can use this drop-down list to change the shape of the deselection tool.

    Clear

    Click to clear all selected parcels.

    Refresh

    Click to refresh the selected document search results list.

  2. Click the drop-down arrow next to the Select button to enable the selection tool.
  3. Click and drag on the map to select one or more parcels. A document search results list is displayed containing all documents attached to the selected parcel(s).
    Note:

    The document search results list may not be displayed if you have logged out of OnBase. Log in to OnBase to view the document search results list.

  4. Click on the magnifying glass next to a document to open and view that document.
