By configuring the Centricity index settings, you can control how the Signed, Sensitive, and Linked attributes of the individual Document Types assigned to the scan queue are handled during indexing.

To configure the Centricity index settings:

  1. From the Centricity Indexing tab of the Assign Process Options for <scan queue> dialog box, click the Index Settings button. The Centricity Index Settings dialog box is displayed.

Each Document Type assigned to the scan queue is listed with columns displaying the default status of its Signed, Sensitive, and Linked attributes.

  2. To change the default status of a Document Type's attributes, double-click on the Document Type. The <Document Type Name> dialog box is displayed.

Before configuring the attributes' settings, note the following:

    • Some Centricity documents require signatures. The Signed attribute indicates whether a document has been marked as signed.

    • Some Centricity documents contain sensitive information. The Sensitive attribute indicates whether a document has been marked as sensitive.

    • The Linked attribute indicates whether a document is sent to the Centricity database during the configured scan queue's export process. Documents marked as linked are included in the LinkLogic file created for the batch, while documents not marked as linked are not included in the LinkLogic file and only exist within the OnBase repository.

  3. For each of the three attributes, select one of the following:
    • No default: There is no default setting for the attribute on the specified Document Type during indexing. The status of the attribute, as indicated by its corresponding check box in the Document Imaging window's Indexing dialog box, is retained from the previous document in the batch. The user can change the status during indexing as appropriate.

    • Yes: The attribute is selected on the specified Document Type during indexing by default (i.e., the attribute's corresponding check box is automatically selected). If the attribute is not locked, the user can still change the status for individual documents during indexing as appropriate.

    • No: The attribute is not selected on the specified Document Type during indexing by default (i.e., the attribute's corresponding check box is automatically deselected). If the attribute is not locked, the user can still change the status for individual documents during indexing as appropriate.

  4. For each attribute set to a default status of Yes or No, if desired, you can select the Locked check box to prevent users from changing the default status during indexing.
    Note:

For each attribute set to the No default status, the Locked check box is disabled.

  5. When finished configuring the attributes' settings for the specified Document Type, click Save to return to the Centricity Index Settings dialog box.
  6. Repeat steps 2 to 5 for each listed Document Type.
  7. When finished configuring indexing settings for all Document Types, click Save.
