The following sections describe how to configure the Front Office Scanning configuration file to integrate with your Centricity system. For more information on general Front Office Scanning configuration procedures, see the Front Office Scanning module reference guide or help files.

To configure Front Office Scanning to integrate with your Centricity system, you must do the following:

  1. Add the appropriate connection information for your Centricity system to the Front Office Scanning configuration file. See Configuring Centricity Connection Information for more information.
  2. In the Front Office Scanning configuration file, configure one or more Document Type buttons to launch the Find Patient dialog box. See Configuring Document Type Buttons for Centricity for more information.
  3. In the Front Office Scanning configuration file, configure documents to be uploaded to OnBase as a batch of a scan queue. See the Front Office Scanning module reference guide or help file for more information.
  4. Configure a scan queue for your Centricity solution that first runs the Build Missing Centricity Data from Keywords custom process and then runs the Generate Centricity Document Data Files custom process. See Custom Processing for more information.
