You can link an OnBase document to a note in Guidewire.

Note: This functionality is not supported in Billing Center.

The following example demonstrates how to link a document to a note entity within Guidewire ClaimCenter. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Open a claim within your Guidewire application.
  2. Click the Actions | New | Note menu option. The Note workspace is displayed.
  3. Specify the following information for the new note:

    Option

    Description

    Topic

    Type or select the topic of the note.

    Security Type

    Type or select the Guidewire security type of the note.

    Subject

    Type the subject of the note.

    Related To

    Type or select the number of the claim the note is related to.

    Confidential

    Select whether or not the note is confidential.

    Text

    Type the text of the note.

  4. Click Link Document. A list of documents available to be linked is displayed.
  5. Click the Select button for the desired document to link that document to the selected note. You are returned to the Note page, and the Text field now includes a link to the selected document.
  6. Select Update to save your changes.
    Tip:

    You can unlink a document by clicking the Remove button for that document.
