You can link an existing OnBase document to any entity in Guidewire. The following example demonstrates how to link a document to a Loss Details vehicle entity within Guidewire ClaimCenter. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Open a claim within your Guidewire application.
  2. Select Loss Details | General. The Loss Details window is displayed.
  3. Click View for one of the vehicles in the Vehicles section. The vehicle's entity information is displayed.
    Note:

    Depending on your system's configuration, the View button may include a numeric value of the number of documents linked to the entity.

  4. Click Link Document. The Documents window is displayed, containing a list of OnBase documents that relate to the selected claim.
  5. Select the check box for each document you want to link to the selected vehicle entity.
  6. Click Select. The selected documents are linked to the entity.
    Tip:

    To unlink a document from the OnBase Documents list, select the desired documents and click the Unlink button.
