To upload a document to OnBase from Guidewire, follow these steps:
Unless otherwise noted, OnBase does not support the import of files larger than 2 GB.
- Open a claim, account, policy, or producer within your Guidewire application.
- Click Actions | New Document | Upload Documents. The Upload Documents workspace is displayed.

Add a document file to the Upload Documents workspace by doing one of the following:

Drag and drop the file into the workspace.

Click Add Files and browse to the file.
- Copy the file and paste it into the Paste Files Here field.

Complete the following fields:
Field
Description
Name Enter the name of the document. File Type
Select the file type of the document being imported into OnBase.
Status Select the status of the document. Security Type
Select the level of security that applies to the document.
Document Type
Select the OnBase Document Type associated with the document.
Subtype
Select the document subtype associated with the document.
- Complete any other fields as needed.

Click Update. You will be returned to the Summary page.
Note:
Depending on your system's configuration, larger documents may not be uploaded immediately.
