Depending on your configuration, you may be able to upload documents only to certain types of contacts. See your system administrator or solution provider for more information.

Note:

Unless otherwise noted, OnBase does not support the import of files larger than 2 GB.

To upload a document to OnBase from Guidewire ContactManager, follow these steps:

  1. Open a contact in ContactManager.
  2. Click the Documents tab. A list of documents related to the contact is displayed.
  3. Click the New Document | Upload Documents button option. The Upload documents workspace is displayed.
  4. Add a document file to the Upload documents workspace by doing one of the following:
    • Drag and drop the file into the workspace.

    • Click Add Files and browse to the file.

  5. In the Document Type field, select the OnBase Document Type associated with the document. This is a required field.
  6. Complete any other fields as needed for your business process.
  7. Click Update. The document is added to the list on the Documents tab.
    Note:

    Depending on your system's configuration, larger documents may not be uploaded immediately.
